Kevin Sorensen and Karen (maiden Name is Patterson I think) were married in the Chamber of Judge Craig Storey at the Weber Center at 2380 Washington Blvd. at Noon on Wednesday 14 Mar 2007. Kevin called Me and Jan on Monday and invited us to come and act as witnesses for them. We were happy to do that and we are very happy for them and wish them the very best and a long happy marriage. Kevin and Karen dated 27 years ago when she was going to Ben Lomond and Kevin had been out of Weber High a few years. Karen was next to last of 9 siblings and Kevin was next to last of 6. This is the third Marriage for each of Them and we feel that the Majic is with them to make this relationship stick for ever. Karen has a 16 year old daughter who will finish her senior year at Box Elder in Brigham City where Karen has a home. Kevin has four children and Karen is happy to finally have the five kids she has always wanted. They have the look of being meant for each other and with the counsel that Judge Storey gave them, They ought to make it. We had lunch at the Olive Garden Restaurant on Riverdale Road. The newly weds are planning to buy Jack and Jeri's place in North Ogden and I believe Karen said she was going to sell her home in Brigham eventually. Kevin works for SCI and Karen has been with Smith's for 20 years Presently in Layton. Kevin just turned 47 in December and Karen turns 44 on 27 March. PS Update: 14 May 2007 Jack and Jeri have made their move to an address in Harrisville. Kevin and Karen have sold Karen's home in Brigham City and Moved into 2427 N. 575 E in North Ogden and their home closes on 15 May.
